ينطلق مهرجان بيروت الدولي لسينما المرأة .. الذي ينظمه "مجتمع بيروت السينمائي" بنسخته الثامنة هذا العام بين ٢٧ نيسان و٣ أيار ٢٠٢٥ تحت شعار "نساء من أجل القيادة" .. وذلك برعاية وزير الثقافة غسان سلامة ووزيرة السياحة لورا لحود .. وبشراكة مع كازينو لبنان وGrand Cinemas ..
يفتتح المهرجان فعالياته في ٢٧ نيسان ٢٠٢٥ بحفل في كازينو لبنان .. تتخلله مشاركة النجمة التونسية-المصرية هند صبري كضيفة شرف تكريماً لمسيرتها الفنية اللامعة وإسهاماتها البارزة في السينما ..
كما يشمل الافتتاح تكريم كل من الدكتورة جاكلين معلوف رئيسة "التجمع الوطني للسكري" .. تقديراً لجهودها في العمل الإجتماعي .. والسيدة مايسة بو عضل رئيسة مجموعة HOLDAL لنجاحها في عالم الأعمال .. تقدم الإحتفال الممثلة اللبنانية سارة أبي كنعان ..
يمتد المهرجان حتى ٣ أيار ويعرض ما يقارب مئة فيلم من أكثر من ٤٥ دولة .. تشمل أفلاماً روائية ووثائقية .. قصيرة وطويلة .. بالإضافة إلى أفلام رسوم متحركة وتجريبية وأفلام رقص ..
تقام العروض في صالات Grand Cinemas في مجمّع ABC ضبية .. ويترافق البرنامج مع ندوات وحلقات نقاشية ..
ويُختتم الحدث بحفل توزيع الجوائز في ٣ أيار ٢٠٢٥ حيث تختار لجنة تحكيم مؤلفة من ٢٩ شخصية سينمائية وفنية مرموقة الفائزين في مختلف الفئات ..
ويُعدّ هذا المهرجان منصة بارزة للاحتفاء بإبداع وتميّز المرأة في المجال السينمائي .. إذ يُبرز دورها القيادي ويُكرم إنجازاتها الملهمة ..

Hend Sabry to Be Honored at the Beirut International Women Film Festival
The Beirut International Women Film Festival, organized by the Beirut Film Society, returns for its 8th edition from April 27 to May 3, 2025, under the theme "Women for Leadership." The festival is held under the patronage of Minister of Culture Ghassan Salameh and Minister of Tourism Laura Lahoud, in partnership with Casino du Liban and Grand Cinemas.
The opening ceremony will take place on April 27 at Casino du Liban, featuring acclaimed Tunisian-Egyptian actress Hend Sabry as Guest of Honor, in recognition of her outstanding artistic career and significant contributions to cinema. The ceremony will also include tributes to Dr. Jacqueline Maalouf, President of the National Diabetes Association, for her achievements in social work, and Ms. Maysaa Abou Adal, Chairwoman of HOLDAL Group, for her success in the business world; Mater of Ceremony Lebanese Actress Sara Abi Kanaan.
The festival continues until May 3, showcasing around 100 films from over 45 countries. The program includes a diverse selection of short and feature-length films—fiction, documentaries, animation, experimental films, and dance films—screened at Grand Cinemas in ABC Dbayeh. In addition to film screenings, the festival features panels and discussion sessions. The event concludes with an awards ceremony on May 3, where winners will be selected by a jury of 29 esteemed cinema professionals, actors, and artists, divided into specialized juries for each film category.
This festival attracts leading figures from the worlds of cinema, television, and the arts, celebrating women's excellence and creativity in film. It plays a vital role in highlighting women’s leadership and honoring their remarkable impact in the industry and society.
It’s worth noting that the Beirut Film Society is an active organization dedicated to promoting Lebanese culture through filmmaking and the arts, both nationally and internationally. Its initiatives span Lebanon, Canada, Latin America, and the Arab world, and reflect its vision of a “Film Friendly Lebanon”—contributing to a cultural economy and film indused tourism.

Hend Sabry honorée au Festival International du Film de Femmes de Beyrouth
Le Festival International du Film de Femmes de Beyrouth, organisé par la Beirut Film Society, revient pour sa 8e édition du 27 avril au 3 mai 2025, sous le thème « Femmes pour le leadership ». Le festival se déroule sous le patronage du Ministre de la Culture Ghassan Salameh et de la Ministre du Tourisme Laura Lahoud, en partenariat avec le Casino du Liban et Grand Cinemas.
La cérémonie d’ouverture aura lieu le 27 avril au Casino du Liban, et accueillera la célèbre actrice tuniso-égyptienne Hend Sabry en tant qu’invitée d’honneur, en reconnaissance de sa brillante carrière artistique et de ses contributions majeures au cinéma. La soirée inclura également des hommages à la Dre Jacqueline Maalouf, Présidente de l’Association Nationale du Diabète, pour son engagement dans le travail social, et à Mme Maysaa Abou Adal, Présidente du Groupe HOLDAL, pour son succès dans le monde des affaires; la ceremonie est animé pas l’actrice Libanaise Sara Abi Kanaan.
Le festival se poursuit jusqu’au 3 mai, avec la projection d’environ 100 films en provenance de plus de 45 pays. Le programme propose une sélection variée de courts et longs métrages — fictions, documentaires, films d’animation, expérimentaux et de danse — projetés dans les salles Grand Cinemas du centre ABC de Dbayeh. En plus des projections, le festival propose des tables rondes et des séances de discussion. Il s’achèvera par une cérémonie de remise des prix le 3 mai, au cours de laquelle les lauréats seront choisis par un jury composé de 29 professionnels du cinéma, comédiens et artistes renommés, répartis en comités spécialisés selon les catégories de films.
Ce festival attire les figures de proue du cinéma, de la télévision et de l’art, célébrant l’excellence et la créativité féminines dans le domaine cinématographique. Il joue un rôle essentiel dans la valorisation du leadership féminin et dans l’hommage aux contributions remarquables des femmes dans l’industrie et la société.
